HENDRICKS INDUSTRIES
Ruler of the House
Hendricks Industries is a Canadian parent company that holds and nutures our family businesses. We invest, operate, and steward our capital, real estate, technology, and ventures... We measure in generations, ordered by number.
Ⅰ
Monad
One Canadian family. One name on the door.
φ
Harmonia
Growth in golden proportion, never in haste.
Χ
Tetractys
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 the perfect ten.
∞
Apeiron
Built to outlast every horizon.
Ⅰ · Monad: Who we are
One Canadian family. Many ventures. A single mission.
Hendricks Industries Inc. serves as the holding company for the Hendricks family's operating businesses and investments. We take the long view; acquiring, building, and nurturing companies we intend to hold for decades, not quarters.
The Pythagorean way is in the sauce, they began every proof from the monad: the one from which all number flows. So do we. One family, one standard; and from it, everything we build in proportion.
"We don't build companies to sell them. We build them to pass them on."
— MR. HENDRICKS
Ⅱ · Harmonia: The portfolio
The first harmony
Pythagoras stretched a string and found the cosmos in its ratios. A chord begins with a single note struck true; every interval after it is measured from the first.
Food & Lifestyle
Heartside Pantry Inc.
2 : 1
Octave / the first consonance
The same note, an octave warmer. Pantry goods and everyday comforts made for the family table; crafted with care, shared by the hearth, and meant to become tradition.
The third awaits its string.
Ⅲ · Triad: What we stand for
Three values, one triangle
The triangle is the first figure; the fewest sides that enclose a space, and the strongest. Ours has three faces.
Α
Stewardship
We build to hand down, not to flip. Every decision is made with the next generation in mind.
Β
Integrity
The family name is on the door. We keep our word and stand behind our work.
Γ
Dominion
Ruler of the house. We take command of what we build and guard it through every season.
Ⅳ · Kosmos: Heritage
House of the Dragon
The Hendricks name descends from the old Germanic Haimirich; "ruler of the house." In the family's legend, that home-ruler is the keeper of the hall: the dragon at it's heart. The ancients watched comets streak the sky and named them serpents and dragons; Pythagoras watched the same sky and heard music. We hold both truths; guard what you build, and build it in proportion.
"There is geometry in the humming of the strings; there is music in the spacing of the spheres."
